"My parents told me about Mr. Common Sense early in my life and told me I
would do well to call on him when making decisions. It seems he was always
around in my early years but less and less as time passed by.
Today I read his obituary. Please join me in a moment of silence in
remembrance, for Common Sense had served us all so well for so many
generations.
Obituary
Common Sense
Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has
been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his
birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be
remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as knowing when to
come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn't always
fair, and maybe it was my fault.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more
than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not children are
in charge).
His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well intentioned but
overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a six-year-old boy
charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from
school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding
an unruly student, which only worsened his condition.
Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job
they themselves failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.
It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent
to administer Aspirin, sun lotion or a sticky plaster to a student, but
could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to
have an abortion.
Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became
contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better
treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't
defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar can sue you
for assault.
Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to
realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her
lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.
Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his
wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is
survived by three stepbrothers; I Know my Rights, Someone Else is to Blame,
and I'm a Victim.
Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you
still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

Been forever since I last posted, eh?
Well, in this *cough* short *cough* time I came to the realization that I cannot draw, then that I can but I'm not that good and very sloppy, so I'm working on one, and only one picture at a time, giving my all into the pieces. (And trying to finish up older ones, in-between)One is giving me headaches. I'm trying to do a fanart of Erevis Cale but although I've got the lineart, the colouring just doesen't want to get right...I didn't even stop to think about the first concept draft of Riven, I'm already dreading...
And I've got a graphic novel in the WIP to...*sigh* Why can't days be 36 hours? At least. Not to mention my book project :) I've got an army of things behind my back and they are just getting bigger by the minute! :D
In my free-time (What's that?) I'm reading books, lots of books. Still trying to get the last one of the Cale trilogy. It was funny, I ordered my copy from amazon, thinking it'll never be printed in hungarian in the near future, they dispatch it on oct 26 (my birthday) and on halloween I came across and article on the hungarian distributors site, that it was release in hungarion on.....*drumroll* oct 11.
I felt sick :D But I don't mind, it'll not be my first book in 2 languages:) *looks at the Avatar-series*
Studies are going okay, tomorrow we will sew our first skirts. Oh my, what joy:) *sarcasm*
Dunno what to write..ah well, back to drawing. |

I'm annoyed.
Why can't I find a decent alt/goth/deathrock/whatever party in Budapest?
Every damn clubnight has EBM and such, I hate that! We need nights such as the Bring Out Your Dead
and the Drop Dead Fest yes, these are festivals, I'm not asking for festivals, only some damn regular nights in a rathole for all I care, without any EBM/Electro/Industrial and whatever genre name that is mostly made up of electronic music (and I'm not talking about electric guitars:) ).
This fer now. Not much happening here. Next week is partytime, then... who knows:) |

On a different note.
I have my affinity back for Changeling. I kinda forgot about the WOD universes 'cause I didn't have decent character ideas. They just suddenly come, I can't conciously think out the basics, only the fine details. But just some hours ago I had my pooka come for me, and I'm taken. What's better then a decora styled scorpion pooka? Yeah extreme, not many recognize the scorpion as a type but they can kiss my you know what :P And I already feels my werewolf black fury approaching. Until then and after them, FR is my love and life.

Another sensless entry of chaotic doooom XD
Erm, I found I'm all for Cyric, I might even play a Cyric worshipper in a little campaign that we will hold sometime (a Halfling!). I should give some tought to my Drow char for our freestyle play too. Must scribble down my Werewolf char and I already have a Changeling in my head (you can take this as ya wish XD). Roleplay galore. Anyone know of a good Live this summer?
On a different note, my mum and I will visit the art school tomorrow. I hope it is a good place and they have a good schedule. I can't manage 2 years if I must get up at 5 a.m. every schoolday. I can't, no matter how hard I want. So wish me luck.
- I also wish that they will have a long break, I want to bring bento lunch in *wink* I'm waiting for the bento box set to arrive, this or the next week. Anxiously waiting :) I'm frenetically searching for japanese recipes ad have found some really tasty one, even tried out one or two (Tamagoyaki and Oyakodon, yummy for both)
Fo the past 2 days I've benn working on my little Ranger/Rouge of Shaundakul who I'll play on the upcoming NWN Multiplayer game. Next will be my new found love, a paladine of Tymora (I know that's impossible with the rules, and might change, yes, but until the DMs say otherwise I'll stick with Tymora)
The Ranger is a southener, from a portcity (sounds like Calimport? You bet, I wanted her to be from there;)) named Rasheeka el-Zarky and the Paladine is Unaris K'ass from....hmm..dunno yet, maybe from the capital.

I've found myself at odd lately, I grew attached to cute things, my mobilephone is like a big mass of cute stickers. I love it of yourse, but still XD Oh well, people change, though I don't, I just switch priorities XDD
Exams are coming out good. Teachers told me I passed 2 subjects for sure, and no one said that I failed in something, so I'm quiet content at the moment. Orals are coming up next, so in the next 2 weeks I'll be a studymachine!
The very next weekend from the exams is when the Jrock party will be! Yaaay, I can't wait!! Hope I'll get to see Cinema Strange too, too bad Das Ich came so suddenly and unnoticed (for me) I wanted to check them out too. Oh well.
Going to see V for Vendetta on Thursday. I adore the comic, so I'm curious how the movie came out. I don't have high hopes for it though. Only wish the music is great 'cause it can make me love a movie all the better. Oh well.
Noticed that I didn't do highlighting and colouring in this text? Figured that it is getting long and would disturb ya guys. I'm so nice and mercifull, am I not? *cackle*
Umm, I don't want to go rambling about things (life is pain, hah *hair swhoosh*) like my newly tailored and self made clothes, my second hand and 1 dollar shopping sprees and the planning of my new (short and blue!) hairstyle. If you're interested in such things, well, that's your problem, not mine:)

Nuthin' interesting happens around here, hmpf. Graduation exams are comming up (not even 2 weeks, damn!) so I'm busy busy busy...
But, my name day is on the 3rd, and I bribed my mum to pay my new haircut! (Hitsugi style) It'll be cool, I didn't have a shortcut in long, long years.
Otherwise, really not much is happening, which is unfortunate, for I'm very bored, but lucky in a way because that way I can study (bad again, I hate to study XD)
I'm decorating my artcase (you know the very big ones) Black srap papers and yellow ones, hope to form a sliced lemon ;)
Ah well, I probably won't update 'till the writing exams are done (you won't even notice the time, seeing how regurarly I update this thing XD) Next time I hope I can show you my new hair with some strange make up, trying out my new green and blue toned stuff (I have shiney limegreen nails for about a month now and I must accept that I love this colour XD) |

Nothing really happens around here.
Exams are on, life is boring, I want to rip out my womb (PMS) and generally feeling dizzy and under.
Though I have a new ambition, be an underground fashion designer! Yeah, I even thinked out my label XD
I promise that I'll do the drawings and all the stuff I promised after
this stressfull period is over and I'll have more free time. Occasional
doodles may conquer.

I want an Aslan medalion XD bad, that only a christian jewelry maker crafts it, I'm afraid they chant biblical quoutes on it or something XD
I still can't get over the fact that this harmless movie does a religious uproar on some parts XD why can't they get a life or something? Ehh... Aslan as jesus, not fer me:)
The movie was good, I expected worse:) I loved some parts, been
confused on some parts, predicted some parts and was like "duh!" at
some parts, but overall not bad:)
Strange, how can a kid learn to stand off against the white witch with a sword and shield in 2 days when he never before even looked upon a sword? And it was so frustrating that he only used the shield for defense, no creativity, there was so much holes where he could hit that rasta witch black and blue. oh well...
Good music *listens to soundtrack* Loved the fauns and the various creatures, they made them look great!
Snowed like hell yesterday as I said, now everything is solid ice on the sidewalk..oh, and snow...>.>...
I won't get into my diet program, but looks like its woking *yay*

I did some fittness yesterday and now I have the worst muscle strain
ever, I can barely move my legs and my stomach is hell...Lucky that I
only have to bear with these excersises 3 times a week..
Ohhhh....my Howl's Moving Castle book just arrived half an hour ago! I must read it tonight, looks spiffy:)
Otherwise no interesting thing happened to me..so sad:( Though tomorrow is Narnia movie
day XD We will sit and wait for available tickets to take XDD Then I'll
be off to Demon for my new top and to repair one of my trousers (I was
soooo stupid, I ripped off the slide fastener XDDD..I shall be never in a hurry again! XD)
Friday will be Hungarian Bleach Forum Meet day, though maybe not, who knows what will happen.
New Year party is still On Hold

Christmas was good, food was superb ;)
I've got a digicam: Comador 3.3 megapixel -> dunno what that means but maybe there are those who are interested in it..
I've got wireless headphones also, but I can't use it, it's so thight!!
You can't wear it for longer periods and everything sounds so icky with
it...so yeah. We are sad about it, but maybe we can use it for
something...hmm..*wonders* No I won't give it away:P
And money! Not much, on the contrary, but if I add my pocket money to it I can buy the tickets for the next MetalMania fest! YAY!! Soilwork, here I come!!
Otherwise, nothing new here, working on pictures, now the digital ones,
traditionals will come later on this week. I'm up to do anything to
delay cleaning my desk:P
New Year party is still On Hold. Got few options though:
- 1. Stay at home and get drunk by liters of kids champagne
- 2. Go to random party thrown at my way
- 3. Go to planned party at Gyáripari Romantika (Factory Romance - goth-ish club)
- 4. Sleep it through
- 5. If all else fails, go to garden party where I'll be bored and ruin it for the others. <- Not likely
All in all, not so bad XD For 4 years in a row I was sick at christmas all the time, it was hell XD Now I at least have the option to go to a New Year party or something, that's great!! XD |
